Since some of you have seen a few of Nomi Ansari’s latest designs, I thought I would post a few more that I was sent by him. But please please please, IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS GOOD, do not post these pictures elsewhere or tell him (Nomi ansari) where you got them from!
P.S. What do you guys make of the Bridal outfit???

The long shirts with ghararas/shararas seem to be very in these days. I wouldn't do them with a farshi, but it looks cute on the regular length ones.

with the exception of the weird, green and yellow long sleeved outfit, i love them all! very nice. the pink gharara has the dupatta draped all over the front- but it looks like it has a short kameez. is that the one you meant, ziggy?
p.s: whats up with milk maid hair? is this “couture”?

That weird yellow and green one was also worn by Sunitra Marshal on her mehndhi and it's probably the only one that I hate - I don't think the outfit did anything good for her considering she is such a pretty lady...however, the green and pink outfit she's wearing in this show seems to be hitting all the right notes!
The pink/beige gharara that vinnie is wearing with the duppata draped over the front - that's right...what do you think? I saw this outfit and it's really gorgeous up close but that shirt was actually a bikini type blouse, which he was using for a shoot...i'm not sure why because it was hideous. He claimed that no one would probably ever order it with that blouse! He said he would provide it with a well worked shirt and he could leave the outfit as the gharara shown or convert it into a dhaka pajama (similar cut to the one Pakifairy wore at her valima) ?
His colour combinations are always interesting. He definitely sets trends...remember when he started patiala shalwars and lehriya.
At that time I was visiting Karachi and one of the shopkeepers in Gulf was claiming that the jamavaars he had were being used by Nomi and Umar Sayeed. He also had lehriya sarees which he said Nomi had ordered from him. At that time I was like...yeah...right! Later on I realized that he was telling the truth as I saw the same exact stuff in their shoots.
The shop is in Gulf...the mall/shopping area has various lanes/entrances with shops on both sides. His shop is in the beginning of one of those lanes...sorry I don't remember the name...but he has the best jamavaars in the area so u'll know when u see it (he's pathan)....and he is anal when it comes to reducing prices.
Back to Nomi Ansari's new collection...I always like his work but I think this time the shirts have a bit too much work!

i love the capri outifts he has. the teal and pinkish one and the last one. they both can be worn anywhere ! and look very stylish i would just add sleves to them

Leriya is a form of tie-dye... it's got diagonal stripes.
The jewellery is very Victorian. The set that Vaneeza is wearing very nice. I also like the earings worn by Tooba.
