i've right now, a sony ericsson, z600 .. surprizingly, our young generation is LOVING It.. BOTH girls and guys..
it was a bad decision, i had heard a lot about sony phones, but this phone doesnt DO IT for me .. very good looking and sleek phone, lots of features.. so NOW i am in market again, this time wanna get the topnotch nokia.. i had 4 nokiaz in the past 2-3 years under my personal usage and out of EVERY brand, reception wise they had always won my respect, hands down.. (When the phone works under TWO levels of basement parking surrounded by concrete, thats SOMETHING) :-)
so ugliness of that phone is a factor, that i am happily-willingly agreeing to ignore :-)
I´ve got the Nokia 6820 and I have used it, when approaching my underground parking (3 levels below the ground), while driving in loooooong motorway tunnels, etc. And never had a problem with it.
(Btw: Omegacell sells it for $ 399.99)
i know.. carrier they have the 399 tag for is not anymore the one i am with now.. the OEM will cost 100 extra..
between 6820, 6230 and 6600, i couldnt decide.. features of 6600 are kinda stable and promising, (reception factor is no longer a concern, all three have great reception). so now, 6820 has keyboard, looks great too .. 6600 is a bit differently styled and again looks good also .. 6230 is VERY much new, not easy to get, and what i have heard SO far from people in states who bought it, that they love it .. one who was using a uk version of 6600 actually loved it more..

well, I got mine for free, took it with a contract though (1 year T-mobile).
It is also very scarce in Holland! A lot of people I come across have been looking to get one with no success. It was sold out everywhere. But seems to be in stock again..

Very stable. No problems at all. And a heap load of features. One of the most worth mentioning is a memory slot for MMC memory and the included MMC card (32MB)

ps, is reception the TRADITIONAL nokia type? (cuz so far out of my 4 nokiaz, i never had troubles)

finally found a site, setup a paypal account (cuz it wasnt accepting a payment method like credit card for canadian addresses) - getting it in a week or so.. lets see if all the word-of-mouth things are correct about this phone..
phone was TOO new for michigan state's att and cingular and tmobile sales agents to have it anywhere or even ordered.. other places that DID had it, were either a) more than 600 cdn or couldnt ship out to canada..
price is costing a LIL much than what i had in mind.. but still, price itself (minus the shipping waghaira) is a better deal..
so NOW my sony ericsson z600, along with ALL accessories (personal or car) will going on sale among friends.. (thinking a 350 tag would be okay, considering NOW its available publically and only like a month old)
