Are there any writings of theirs in specific you are referring to? “Fateful triangle” and “Manufacturing consent” by Chomsky are some of my favourites. For Orwell, ONLY two i’ve read by him, are 1984 and Animal Farm.

Peace Be Upon You!
Dear Nadia:
I've got a large paper-cover book titled "Manifacturing Consent" as well as Volume One of the videotape of the same title (VHS NTSC, not PAL). The second volume I have yet to see? Also have books by Noam Chomsky in addition to the above named one. Also read "Animal Farm" as well as "1984" and Huxley's "Brave New Worlds." Eugene Zamiatin wrote "We" in 1923 and Russia's Josef Stalin banned it immediately. I have taken many classes recently in community college about the above subjects and have videotaped the guest speakers, however once the professors who invited them "borrow" these tapes, they do not make copies or share them with anyone else, not even the person who spoke, like David Barsamian. I also listen to Radio Pacifica KPFK FM90.7 which is alternative radio. Do you like to trade some of your videos from Pakistan for some of our U.S. made videos? You can email me if you wish and I can give you my mailing address here in California. Thank you for your response, Nadia! :) Sarge

aw :) Thanks for such a wonderful response, i really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, no, i do not live in Pakistan... i'd love to get my hands on those videos too :D
It sounds as though you are definitely way more well-read than i am. i haven't even heard of Eugene Zamiatin, will try to check out that book sometime. Radio Pacifica - that's very well known in North America. Yes actually when i was referring to the "Manufacturing Consent" series, i was referring to the videotapes as well... they're amazing eh. Have you seen that short video, "Hearing Children's Voices" (1999)?
What started your interest in all of this 'type' of literature?
