NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

Re: NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

Actually brother the earliest shias had much better opinion of the first 2 caliphs than present day ones …but they were almost all open enemies of the 3rd one or atleast highly critical of him

Re: NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

There are very clear Ahadith that declare wives ARE included in Ahle-Bayt:

Anas bin Malik reported: "A banquet of bread and meat was held on the occasion of the marriage of the Prophet to Zainab bint Jahsh. I was sent to invite the people (to the banquet),………. The Prophet left and went towards the dwelling place of Aa'ishah and said, "Peace and Allah's Mercy be on you, O the people of the house!" **She replied, "Peace and the mercy of Allah be on you too. How did you find your wife? May Allah bless you. **Then he went to the dwelling places of all his other wives and said to them the same as he said to Aa'ishah and they said to him the same as Aa'ishah had said to him." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Tafseer Al-Quran, Surat Al-Ahzab)

In the hadeeth of Al-Efk (the narration of the Lie), the Prophet peace be upon him, while he was on the pulpit says: "O people give me your opinion regarding those people who made a forged story against my family. By Allah, I do not know anything bad about her. By Allah, they accused her of being with a man about whom I have never known anything bad, and he never entered my house unless I was present there, and whenever I went on a journey, he went with me" (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Tafseer AL-Quran, Surat AL-Nour

Al-Azhar Verdict on the Shia
GRAND MUFTI

Fatwa (ruling) of Shaikh Mahmood Shaltoot
Head Office of al-Azhar University:

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL Text of the Verdict (Fatwa) Issued by His Excellency Shaikh al-Akbar Mahmood Shaltoot, Head of the al-Azhar University, on Permissibility of Following “al-Shia al-Imamiyyah” School of Thought
His Excellency was asked:
Some believe that, for a Muslim to have religiously correct worship and dealing, it is necessary to follow one of the four known schools of thought, whereas, “al-Shia al-Imamiyyah” school of thought is not one of them nor “al-Shia al-Zaidiyyah.” Do your Excellency agree with this opinion, and prohibit following “al-Shia al-Imamiyyah al-Ithna Ashariyyah” school of thought, for example?
His Excellency replied:

  1. Islam does not require a Muslim to follow a particular Madh’hab (school of thought). Rather, we say: every Muslim has the right to follow one of the schools of thought which has been correctly narrated and its verdicts have been compiled in its books. And, everyone who is following such Madhahib [schools of thought] can transfer to another school, and there shall be no crime on him for doing so.
  2. The Ja’fari school of thought, which is also known as “al-Shia al- Imamiyyah al-Ithna Ashariyyah” (i.e., The Twelver Imami Shi’ites) is a school of thought that is religiously correct to follow in worship as are other Sunni schools of thought. Muslims must know this, and ought to refrain from unjust prejudice to any particular school of thought, since the religion of Allah and His Divine Law (Shari’ah) was never restricted to a particular school of thought. Their jurists (Mujtahidoon) are accepted by Almighty Allah, and it is permissible to the “non-Mujtahid” to follow them and to accord with their teaching whether in worship (Ibadaat) or transactions (Mu’amilaat).
    Signed, Mahmood Shaltoot.

Re: NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

[edit: writing in caps is not the cue for sly digs. consider this your first warning].

Now about the topic, its very clear that wives are included in Ahle-Bayt, Allah says so by beginning the Ayat 33:33 by calling wives of Prophet. Inaddition i have posted two Ahadeeth above in which Rasoolullaah saw has called his wives his Ahle-Bayt, both Ahadeeth are from Saheeh Bukhari, which is considered authentic by Sunnis. The two proofs Quran and Hadeeth are enough for Sunnies.

Allah aap ko kuchh Hidayat naseeb farmaye.

Re: NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

oh jez, this debate again.

Heres my last venture into these waters, giving two sahih ahadis from bukhari/muslim that explicitly restrict “ahl e bait” in the specialized sense in addition to the general translation of the word into family. In one hadith the question is asked if the wives are included and the answer is no.

How much more direct do you want it to be?

anyway, im not getting into this discussion again so my last post on this matter.

Re: NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

We respect the beloved Prophet his family, companions and wives without any prejudice and yes Hazrat Ali was on the right path in jang e jamal but Hazrat Ayesha did not commit a mistake intentionally , had this not been true the Prophet would never have kept her as his beloved wife. Hazrat Ali showed great respect to her and made sure she reached Medina with his guards after the war, hazrat Ayesha did admit to her mistake after the war so why criticize the Prophet’s wife?

Re: NOAH ARC (as) ARC & AHLE BAYTE(as)

hahaha, the fight for "my sources are better" continues.
