Does it matter to the people crawling under those container today to get to work or get to hospitals? Is there true democracy when election are rigged? Why not do away with election altogether and let 2 party take turn looting the country. At least this way we respect them for their honesty.
True Democracy is not a software nor a commodity available in market which can be purchased and lated installed and it start working... it comes with the continuation of the system... where the rejected politicians (chaudharies, shk rashed tahir ul qadri etc) does not conspire and/or hope to bring the army to dilute the system
Let the election process continuously work for 10-20 years.. let the politician know that the only way to get to power is to address their issues.. that is health and education... that is law and order situation... then we'll arrive at true democracy... right now what is happening is the process to reach there.. IK is plain stupid to say the least... otherwise it is democracy which has given him a province to govern and prove that he can actually can deliver his words...
Like a tree, democratic culture need time to develop and grow...

You are quite right but most leaders in every party are part of the same system , not only leaders all institutions . Getting rid from corruption is very difficult even next to impossible . That is just possible at this moment through a new social , political and regional contract with a NRO for all for the past but no one is willing to do anything for the nation , They are all in lust of power , power for money by any means .

People of Pakistan will have to earn it not wait for leaders to give them democracy because that will never happen. When people see something wrong like corruption, containers, killing of civilians by police, or vise versa they have to have unite in one voice and condemn it and demand justice even if they have to cross party lines. Until people start thinking of a bond of being human and pakistani at higher level than of party line or religion sect, Pakistan will unfortunately will be always a third world country. corrupt Leaders will always benefit from divide and rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
