In the UK people have to pay a tax for owning a TV. The money goes to running the BBC.
Anyway I would get so bored without a TV.

Well I am glad some of you have already turned it off, while others only have soccer on their mind, even if the last time they played soccer was when they didn't own a shaving cream.
Anyhoo, I will be locking it up for the Saturday and probably at least one Saturday of a month onwards.
TV truly is like the British, you know those things that come in all shapes and sizes, can be found in any continent, glitter but is nothing like gold. Not to mention the Asians know how to make a cheaper better version of 'em every year.

There's nothing wrong with television. It's how people use the television which is the problem. One has to monitor what their children are watching. That's all.

No freakin' way some television police will take away my television.
From here on out, I declare the first Saturday of July Television Viewers' Day. All televisions must be on at all times. I will be personally coming to your homes to check. There will be consequences for those who do not follow.
Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to watch some television. CNN, yummm.
