Sorry ppl if i sound so frustrated but there is something going on wrong in our Cricket Set-Up and not only in the National 11
We had only 1 Batsmen (apart from yoyo 2nd innings) who showed the determination to stay as long as he could … By the way he is an allrounder and not a certainty for Test-11 … Apart from one outstanding bowler (ok Sami got injured but til then he bowled good) who fought almost lonely against SL … Kaneria dropped two catches which at this level are called easy one’s … No-Ball keep hunting the team and somehow it doesn’t reach the brain of our bowlers …
Inzi a shadow of himself in teh 2nd innings (i didn’t see his 1st innings) … the very moment he came in with a traget of 400+ to chase and played the 1st ball SL knew he is on a part-time trip to the crease … Fernando relieved him from the pain …
Yoyo fought good but then this slight moment of lack of concentration and there u go …
Please do Razzaq a favour and keep him only for teh ODI’s
Moin should be banned from all cricket … it’s not the bad form but the kinda disgraceful way he offers gifts to bowlers
Asim Kamal paid the price for 2 poor shots … hope he learns from that but he certainly is a good prospect coutesy of the SA and IND series
Our problem as i see it at the moment:
our younger (openers) know how to score at 5 an over but not how to stay on the crease for 40-50 overs
Most of our batsmen don’t posses the technique to cope even a hint of Swing and the one can is out of sorts
We have only two bowlers who can make things happen and every team who play us knows that very well … see off Sami and Shoaib and then score at 4+ an over
Switch the mind and thus the application from ODI to Test-Cricket … something we r lacking big time
We’ve lost the “never say die” spirit something that made us unpredictable in a positive way but now ??? Oh well we’ve a half-sleeping Skipper
And please for God-sake play the Game with 10 specialists and an allrounder

I was just about to write on this issue, and you beat me to it, I was just contemplating how the Pakistani fans would take an Indians opinions, hence the hesitation, I agree with your view point without any reservations.
as all this is being said, i still dont know why hassan raza isnt playing test cricket for pakistan....
and u r right zero1, our players cant play swing bowling at all....
i hardly saw a paki batsman after anwar (not that he was very good with it) who cud play (i mean really look and play) a ball that moves away....
some our senior batsmen can handle the ball that comes in, but most of our youngsters stand there lead-footed when a ball moves in, more so when it swings in quickly....
