Do you ever wish we didn’t live in these times with cell phones n emails n aol and every time you actually wanted to talk to a friend they were actually there. And when they asked you “are you okay” you could actually say “no i am not, i am actually having a pretty crappy year” instead of “i am okay” and instead of hugs and all that bs your friend actually hugged u and told you they would be there.
^^
Can't even remember life before all this existed... wuld find it vry difficult to adapt if i went back in time jus now... but i can see ur point, its more warming n assuring to have a conversation in reality..
I am from stone age.
We had one big thick black phone in the house. We all use to run to pick up when ever it rang.
We had about 15 mins. cartoons in the evening.
1 prime time show a day. 8-9pm.
We use to kill time playing support in the school and after school.
Then I have lived in the village too. You eating some thing you feel like having coke. You tell you servant to bring one, he will ride his bike to station, bring bak coke in avg. 1 hr.
Love that. Its like you living out side of time. Time stops there.
i know what you mean! everyone just communicates over technology now, and when we do hang out, we always part by saying ‘keep in touch’. yea keep in touch with that cell phone!
The best thing about time is that it keeps on moving and than it just makes u move with it. Nostalgia is good some times, but just to learn from u'r past and keeping up with present to catch future makes this life interesting and eventful.
As for friendship, i think it is still the same. It just depends that who u are talking too and how much u can share. :)
^ yeah, i agree with that last line- if you're talking to your best friend, you can always pick up a phone call them, which is more intimate than an msn convo- but regardless of the medium, they're your best friend and you can say whatever you want to them... or should be able to, anyway :p
