Re: No praise of Pakistan cricket from King of Swaziland
Anyways, from what I recall, even ODIs dont ensure a full-house in Pakistan. And in India - the recent Pak-Delhi side game was played to a full house. Imagine that. Either Indians are insane cricket fanatics or they have too much faaltoo time on their hands. I think it is a bit of both.
That I have admitted before and will do it again. In terms of crowd turnout, there is no need for even doing a comparison. I once show a clipping on one of the Indian news channel where people gathered to see the match practice of Australia Cricket Team. I guess it was in 2004. I was surprised to see because the crowd was definitely bigger than the average attendance in Pakistan for test matches.
It is a shame that people don't go to see matches in the stadium in Pakistan. I would do anything to see a match live at NSK where I haven't gone in the last 5 years. I am actually trying to plan my next trip to Karachi so that I get to see matches of ICC champions Trophy over there, Inshallah.
