The best place ever in history to raise a ‘good muslim family’ was Madinah at the time of Prophet :saw:, but even then there were people who commited adultery, theft, drank alcohol (and we know this cause their punishments were carried out).
Even prophet Noah :as: son didnt listen to his fathers advice and drowned in the flood. It just shows that even in the best possible environment or households, doesnt guarantee righteousness, its upto Allah to decide who he guides.
Im not saying you shouldnt try, you should try your hardest and pray for the best.
The house and the surrounding environments are still important and do play a huge part, but ultimately its upto Allah.
