milk and coffee without sugar, of course and only skim milk

snacks - nuts - unsalted cold season only 1 ox per serving

water - room temperature
flavor with a tea bag
drink plenty of water - 1.5 liters per day

exercise - regularly on an elliptical or brisk walk for 20 minutes every day in the morning empty stomach

stretch and walk , have straight posture throughout the day

at the end of the work day, relax with a good hot cold shower
drink a glass of milk

rest - sleep restfully .

your body needs carbs

and if you have been eating carbs, you'll just binge one day and eat so much that it will 10x worst for you if you just eat it on a daily basis.

its all about porportions and increasing your protein.

yeah, it should be more about whole grains (brown rice or quinoa), fruits and vegetables as much as you can in their raw forms, lots of water, and try to avoid processed foods. if it comes out of a packet or a can, skip it. you should also aim to eat natural fats and oils, like olive oil, avocado, and add in nuts and seeds to your diet too, like almonds and flax. beans are also an excellent source of protein outside of daal.

Dushwari, I am very happy to see you got all your eating habits penciled down in an online forum. I think blog would be even better. Let me know when you are starting and we can keep a daily log right here. And don't forget to drink water at room temperature in winter.

This looks like the worst diet ever!! Even Dr Atkins diet is better! At least you can eat eggs, chicken/other meats and fats liberally!!

When i asked my doc. few tips on maintaining healthy weight, she emphasize that i must not eat anything after 6.pm. How ridiculous!!

U're diet shud have 30% carbs, 30% lean protein... when I was on a low-carb diet my family was ready to throw me out! (u become really cranky!)

Snacking on raw unsalted nuts is a great idea, keeps u full!

i tried it long ago but its impossible to not to eat Roti or Rice. Roti has too much carb but i dont think we can survive without it.
if i eat rice twice a day, i miss roti so much.

can not survive with out salt and spices.
