I always see people discussing dramas or hindi movies :vivo: But never good hollywood movies like “money ball” "lady with dragon tattoo " MI4. Why? :frowning:

Yeah I recently watched “money ball” And MI4 and I cannot forget the car where Tom Cruise arrives in India. :hayaa: It was BMW sports car.

I watched MI4, Sherlock Holmes 2, Underworld 4, War Horse...

These are the recent ones I watched..and loved all 4 of them...

next am waiting for "The Vow", "MIB 3", "The Dark Knight Rising"....

I watched The Descendents, after I saw it nominated for oscars. A good movie indeed. Relationships oriented, emotional intricacies with a simple story line. Heart touching at times.

I watched the girl with the dragon tattoo and loved it and over the weekend went and saw the Hunger games. It was really good as well. I m reading the books now.

There are so many good ones coming out this year:
spiderman 4: i was sort of shocked at first to see the cast. But it still looks good
The dark Knight rises
Breaking Dawn 2nd part

For some reason there are two snow white movies coming out this year as well.
Mirror Mirror looks comical. But i think i would rather watch Snow white and the huntsman with Charlize theron. I cant believe kristin stewart is also part of it. I m not a huge fan of her, but she actually looks good in it

Moneyball was very good, didn’t think it was worth all the hype. It’s not like it was as good as Shawshank, or The Godfather etc. I’ve been disappointed by a lot of “Best Picture” nominees in recent years. They’ve been very good, but not “Best Picture” material, IMO anyways.

I got to watch Raging Bull recently and if anyone hasn't seen it I highly reccommend it. Oh why is it that people always compare The Godfather with every movie that is nominated for an Oscar? I mean yes it was a brilliant movie but it is so different than the movies that were nominated that it undermines the efforts of film-makers today. Similarly wouldn't want to compare Citizen Kane with the Godfather because they are different movies showcasing different ideas and themes.
