just wondering, why was the shia sect created and who created it!!! was following sunnat-e-rasool not enough?
Forget why and how was it created. The question now is who and how will somebody unite the two as both sects have minor Fundamental differences. United we must stand or divided we will fall.

we believe we are following the true sunnat-e-rasool (pbuh)
shia means follower..of Imam Ali (as)…after the death of Prophet (pbuh) we follow Imam Ali (as).. whom Prophet (as) wanted everyone to follow…but muslims were interested in politics at that time…so basically we follow Quran and Prophets Noble Family after Prophet (pbuh)…who would know more about Prophet (pbuh) and HIs sunnah?
I feel truly sorry to see people like you allowed to post in the Religion forum. You don’t even know how to address the issues!
