People protesting were called 'leftwingers" , liberals", “enviormentalists” or “green”.
Todays headlines are about nucleargrade material research and developement in countries such as Korea and Iran. The main issue is how to stop these countries from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
My question is this:
How can countries with Nuclear capabilities decree that other countries can not?
What example do countries with such capabilities exhibit when they demand stoppage in other countries?
What if treaty is made…and some disband..but some don’t…
What then is the answer?
How can a country go to war toward another using WMD’s as an excuse when they themselves have such weapons?
Q:How can countries with Nuclear capabilities decree that other countries can not?
A: 'Cause they can. Initially only first world countries had nuclear capabilities, they had the ability using U.N as a tool, to starve nations that desired to go that route. So other nations got smarter and followed what Israel did, and covertly started developing nukeees. In other words circumvent U.N.
Q: What example do countries with such capabilities exhibit when they demand stoppage in other countries?
A: One Word "Arrogance"
Q: What if treaty is made...and some disband..but some don't...
What then is the answer?
A: It depeneds, if it is a muslim country, ask Israel to intervene on our behalf (edit: better yet just tell israel, they'll take care of the rest). I wouldn't be surprised if Israeli plans are already underway to blow up the reactors in Iran.
If it is any other country then just pester them and starve them with embargoes. Have talks. Reminds me of a teepee with a big indian chief smokin a peace pipe; you squinty man with with glasses (young kim) must not play with kaboom fire, then passes the pipe and says "here have a hit man, bury your worries"
Q: How can a country go to war toward another using WMD's as an excuse when they themselves have such weapons?
A: Because we haven't used the weapons on the very people we pledge to protect, unlike Saddam and his use of weapons in south and north Iraq. But I think there is a clear difference between WMD and CBRNs. I think that WMDs has been mis-used where the right acronym should have been CBRN (chemical-biological-radioactive-nuclear).
We can drop daisy-cutters and they can classify as WMDs but they are not CBRNs, so a clear distinction needs to be made. (my opinion)
Q: What happend to the golden rule?
A: There is no golden rule. Every country is unique and must be dealt uniquely.
I don't mean to sound like a broken record but if Russia and U.S are the biggest arms exporters in the world of 192 countries, why would they/we want to damage their/ our weapons industry.
Have you seen the movie "the good, the bad and the ugly", Clint grabs outlaws brings them in and when they are ready to be hung he makes them escape so he can collect a bigger bounty. Same thing applies. A country builds we (the coalition) destroy and then you build it again with our expertise so we can destroy it again at a later date and we pick the date.
Your A B D E Questions spell America, which happens to be your middle name in your call sign. ;)

And where is the morality in that?
Golden Rule.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
What right is there using might?

You ask vague questions so here's a vague response.
Golden rules, morality, love, compassion etc look good in Scriptures, Bible (OT,NT), Koran etc. but don't work well when applied in reality (current world situation,Foreign Policy) due to egocentric human nature.

Perhaps.
A vague reply is in order?
But what can you and I do to change that?
btw......... I was hoping against hope for the answer
C.) None of the above.
^^ Do we have a specific question in sight? OR are we hung up on "this", "that", "hoping to hope", "change that".
Be specific and to the point.

I think we should all...
Follow the Golden Rule.
Whats so hard about following the Golden Rule?
It's something we all learned in Kindergarten.
[/QUOTE]
Yeah maybe you learnt it in kindergarten, they obviously missed/skipped that part in the madrassah/s. :D

AAG if the enemy (I use that in a generic sense) doesn't adhere to the Golden Rule why should America?
America was dormant till Pearl Harbor happened same with 9/11. So in a convoluted way we do what others did to us.
Plainly put America was at peace, It's the others that started and then America replied in kind. So here you have a battle between "do others.....fo unto you" and "an eye for an eye". :D
