take a look at what the quran has to say. if you’ve got no namaz - you’ve gotta repent big time.

Do you have a proof? A very hard evidence which guarantees that there is no hell or heaven? Why dont you let us know, life will be so easy or at least different for all.
Now dont you ask me to give you proof of the existance of heaven or hell. A mere fact, that i will not give you any such proof, should not be sufficient for you to be un-believer.

I thought this thread by someone who wanted to vent-out why s/he doesn't pray. Does GS offer services like 'we print out your venting/murmuring, shove it in a bottle and throw it in river'?
No shoving in a bottle and throwing in river bit, but definitely this is the 'it' place for venting. I just wanted to be sure we are not missing out on a deeper meaning of this thread and giving short change to our princess.

You could tell them to have faith in the Mercy of Allah(swt) no one can know for sure who is going to hell or not
and it is never too late to start with a good intention
but then again for people who dont believe in heavan or hell in the first place it would be pointless to give any argument
Namaz is different thing to different people. Some to it to repent, some for forgivness, some for community, habit and others as a commitment to Islam.
If you do read no biased (such as ahtiest views) of things in Islam - it is always praised how everyone gets together and bow down. At that moment nothing else matter, nor the money, nor color, nor the status, nor you.
Here is a lil experiment: Next time you don't feel like studyin (or can't concentrate). Go wudu and pray 2 nafal. Scientifically speaking, you should be able to concentrate and study better :)
