hey does anyone know how to get humtv back on dish? i live in pakistan but dont have cable. we used to get hum tv,hum2,masala ect through dish, which also had ary,geo news etc. all other channels are there but hum network is no more since two days 
anyone has any idea what can be done to get it back?

The asia sat one.which has all free channels like hum tv,ary,nick,geo news

They've changed their frequency.

They have also switched to MPEG-4, so that may also require you to upgrade your satellite receiver.

Why not? You can easily find digital (mpeg4 enabled) receivers in Pakistan. Try some of the auction sites, where you can buy them used online.

Yes.....they're definitely available cuz I set one up for my family when I was there this past Feb. It's much better than paying the cable operators in your immediate area.
