HUMTV disappeared from Dish Network in USA yet again. First it was moved from 678 to 9843 and now that new channel has been invaded by GEO too… say goodbye to Zindagi Gulzar hay, USA viewers!
Anyone know whats going on?

HUM TV's management goofed.
Their contract with Dish expired last night. Either they didn't renew the contract in time or they are having negotiations for the new contract. Until they come to some agreement, enjoy Geo TV on three channels. :) :(
Do you expect Dish Network to send out warning messages before-hand ?
That would be asking too much from that company.
Call them so they know that people are annoyed.
If you get connected to an Indian service center, call again until you are connected to a local service center.
The local centers seem to have more info about these matters.

HUM was given one month notice to discontinue its contract with Jadoo as this is a breach of contract with DishNetwork. HUM refused and so DishNetwork dropped them.

Dummies! They know that most MILS watch this. Now there is prime tv void in most households! Maybe we should all cancel dish and switch to CABLETV!

i called them, they said they are adding duniya tv and 1 more channal. they might add hum tv in future but not rite now.

yea dish network is useless and all their programmings are so behind from the current pak dramas.
might as well toss it out and get the jadoo box ! plus it shows humusa channel so why should they take it off

As of a few days ago, I'm not getting HumUSA on Jadoo either. Do you have the same issue?

I thought hum was on some other number now as they moved it earlier. But it's gone :(
i used to watch drama's on hum only. And geo on 3 different channels,I don't like it.

^ That's what I'd like to know too. Also is Jadoo3 is any better? Does it have most of the indian/pakistani channels etc. I am thinking of switching from Dish to Jadoo3, considering now Hum is gone too. :(

The entire "Jadoo" concept is a scam to begin with. I purchased the original box a year or two after it came out and it worked wonderfully for about 1 year.
Then the people at "Jadoo" came out with the Jadoo 2 box and stopped supporting the older version. All of their boxes have ESN access which allows them to update them and control content.
Even though my 1st generation works perfectly, I cannot view the current "Live TV" content because the people at Jadoo want everyone to spend another $250 bucks for the newer version.
Pretty soon they will be up to Jadoo 4.......then 5 (just like the iPhone).

Dish Network & Direct TV are two different competitors for Satellite Tv service. Direct TV offers more Indian based channels (the whole Star Plus family of channels) than Dish Network, and until now, Dish was the leader for pakistani sattelite channels.
