No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakhtunkh

The people of FATA and Pakhtunkhwa are peacefully protesting in front of National Press Club of Islamabad for the last couple of weeks but there is no mainstream media coverage of their protest. They are protesting over Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud’s extra judicial murder, and demands the arrest of the murderers of Naqeebullah. Their ligitimate demands are as follow:

  1. Arrests of Rao Anwar and other police officers involved in Naqeebullah’s murder.
  2. Removal of landmines from Fata.
  3. Recovery of missing persons and their production to courts
  4. End to practice of imposing curfews in Fata after any untoward incident

The criminal Paki establishment are paying no attention to their demands and ordered the maintream media not to cover them. The government in Islamabad had accepted the demands of a terrorist mullah from Punjab who violently protested in Islamabad few weeks back but will not listen to the peaceful protest of Pakhtuns.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

Imran khan has championed their cause and I see daily reports of their protests in DAWN.

You are just showing your afghan roots. Please tell me how many night raids where they grope women and strip men naked to interview them were really “protested” by afghan govt and stopped?

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

So let me ask this question to OP as well, and all others going nuts on Rao anwar. Did you just come to know that he is a evil person? All the extra-judicial and fake encounters he been doing, why were you silent? Now that a mehsud is killed you suddenly realized its ‘inhuman’? Gime a break.

Can we stop having double standards at some point. Whats wrong is wrong and should be called loud & clear. Whether it’s done with any human. Had you raised the voice against previous fake encounters, there wouldnt be any Mehsud killed.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

Hey afghani… i watch daily news reports on their protest in news, come out of your refugee camp and buy a T.V.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

I am glad you people think the same way as the criminal ruling elites. No other ethnic group even come close to the sacrifices that Pakhtuns have rendered for this country and look how are they perceived by the non-pakhtuns and the ruling mafia - they will even side with the criminal punjabi than to provide jutice to Pakhtuns. with this treatment ordinary Paktuns are now realizing their status as they are no more than cannon fodder for the ruling elites. Pakhtuns must snatch their rights from the decedents of the cow-piss drinkers or send these decedent of cow-piss drinkers back to their Brahmin masters.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

First of, why talk about one ethnic group only? Why not for everyone?

Second, ANP has been stealing votes on the name of the same slogan i.e. Pakhtuns snatch the rights. For how long? I guess around 60+. What happened there ?

Third, Not sure who ethnically you are referring to as cow-piss drinker and sending them to their Brahmin master while you yourself has a quote of Gandhi who was a brahmin by scriptural definition.

Now the aggregated questions are why so negative? why so much hatred and why so confused?

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

Also Malakand bruv, can you tell me if this Afghani “brother” is a Pakhtun as well?

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

This protest is not for Pakhtuns only, this protest is for all Pakistanis and the missing persons, if the mass media were allowed to air the speeches for the protesters then you wouldn’t be asking me this questions.

Referring ANP, you are indirectly telling Pakhtuns that there is no way they can change the situation or get their rights.

Furthermore, I have politely and positively posted this thread but the response from the decedents of cow-piss drinkers were negative.

Anyway here is an article in today’s New York Times on the situation:

In Pakistan, Long-Suffering Pashtuns Find Their VoiceISLAMABAD, Pakistan — At first, the killing last month of Naqeebullah Mehsud — an aspiring modelshot by the police in Karachi who claimed afterward that he was a Taliban militant — seemed merely the latest in a long series of abuses carried out by the authorities against ethnic Pashtuns in Pakistan.
But Mr. Mehsud’s case has proved different. The 27-year-old’s killing, in what appears to have been a staged gun battle, has prompted a protest movement led by young Pashtuns from the tribal areas in the country’s northwest, where they have long been the targets of military operations, internal displacement, ethnic stereotyping and abductions by the security forces…

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

Malakand belongs to the same group…

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

What sacrifices?

Zero sacrifices Pakhtuns have given to Pakistan; they have only benefited from Pakistan. Or else they would have been living in stone age with Afghanistan by killing each other, sodomising young boys, trading drugs, smuggling and selling and trading their women as if they are livestock.

NWFP was licking the balls of Indian National Congress, and was sleeping with Hindus under the Frontier Gandhi Bacha Khan, but when in 1947 they realised they would be landlocked and they had no choice but to accept Pakistan, only then their majority voted for Pakistan in the referendum. Since then Pashtoons have been benefiting from Pakistan.

You are not the majority, yet Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan, Ghulam Ishaq Khan, Gen. Waheed Kakar etc have enjoyed wide powers in this country.

Say thanks to Pakistan as this country civilised you in the NWFP or you would still be savage fools like Afghans by licking the feet of Hindu India and killing each other like psychotic serial killers.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

I don’t want to get into this politics of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan but as far as I know only Pakhtuns from both side of the Durandline fought the Dogras and liberated part of Kashmir that what you call now Azad Kashmir. I know this fact because my grand father died in Kashmir fighting the Sikhs and Dogras to liberate Kashmiris. But now Kashmiris would not even let the Pakhtun-laborers work there. Not only that, Pakhtuns from both sides of Durandline fought for Pakistan in 1965 and 1971 wars against India. You can confirm this from your Dhoti-wearing generals.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

Pathans and Afghans have been protesting against the killing of Naqibullah because most of the land mafia around Al-Asif Square Area near Super Highway Karachi was displaced by Rao Anwar over the request of Malik Riaz of Bahria Town. Pathans have encroached gateways of Karachi like Sohrab Goth, Daud Chorangi, Banaras Town (Bacha Khan Chowk) and many other places like this because they have had the mentality of fighting wars between their own tribes and the same mindset is working in a modern city of Karachi also.

Sohrab Goth or Al-Asif Square Area was a no-go area and Rao Anwar took the credit of cleaning up that area. That’s the main reason why Afghans living over there have been protesting against Naqib’s death.

Allah knows the best, if you begin investigations you might find that Naqib was also a drug dealer or something. I don’t think Rao Anwar would kill a person for no reason. Police receives bhatta from drug dealers and other illegal business owners. I think Naqibullah did not give a share from his income, that’s why police killed him. Maybe I’m wrong but generally Pashtoons have been involved in illegal businesses like this.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

This is a lie. Pashtoons were sent by Pakistan to fight the Maharaja Hari Sindh forces but traditionally they did looting and plundering and were kicked out by Indian forces. It was Pakistan army that liberated Azad Kashmir.

And Pashtoons are not as great as you portray them. They were Pashtoons who stabbed in the back of Syed Ahmad Shaheed and sided with the Sikh daddies of Ranjit Singh.

In the Afghan War, Soviets were raping Pashtoon women, spitting on their ghairat, it was Pakistanis who supported Afghan mujahideen to liberate Afghanistan. Now have some shame please!

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

@Malakand, this is the real face of your Afghanistan. Your country is exporting poison to kill this world:

90% Of World Opium Produced In Afghanistan, Senate Body Told

December 14, 2017

PESHAWAR, 14 December: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has said 90 percent of world’s opium is being produced in Afghanistan out of which 42 percent is smuggled to Pakistan.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

The reality is the other way around, I remember most of the Punjabis used to wear Dothi, they didn’t have any decent attire of their own, they did not knew how to shake hands and meet people, by looking at them and their behavior no one could tell the difference them and Dalits. It were pakhtuns who civilized you and thought you what to wear and how to behave. With the exception of the people north of Jehlem who were under under the Afghan rules till very late - they are Pashtunized in terms of their dress, their names and village rules. Unlike you hindi-nasal, Pakhtuns never copy other people ways, We have our own dress, our own shoes, our own cap, our way of life and rules “Pashtunwali” that are very dear to us. I can see your ingenuity and civilization by observing your dress The DOHTI.

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

And this is the reason why Afghanistan is a cursed nation:

The secret shame of Afghanistan’s bacha bazi ‘dancing boys’ who are made to dress like little girls, then abused by paedophiles

  • Bacha bazi, meaning ‘boy play’, is a tradition found across Afghanistan, where boys dress as women and perform
  • But these boys, some as young as 10, are also sexually abused by the men** - passed around after the parties**
  • The stigma of having been a ‘bacha bereesh’ sees the victims shunned by their families and society
  • However, ‘owning’ more than one boy is seen as a display of both power and wealth among some Afghan war lords

Soviets invaded your country, raped your women, then you killed each other like wild animals and now Americans are doing the same to you and your own people are killing you also.

Wake up, stop dreaming! This is 2018, first check if you’re civilised today or not.

**You Afghans are disgraced in the world by Allah because you follow the footsteps of the people of Lut alayhis salam.

This single crime is perhaps the most important reason why super powers have been shagging you for decades, and you’re being insulted by all people.**

Re: No mainstream media coverage for peaceful protest of the people of FATA and Pakht

Drama, obviously you really hate pakhtuns. You are denying that fact that Pakhtuns have given the ultimate sacrifice to liberate Kashmir. You are right about syed Ahmed a Talib from India, who liberated Hazara from the Sikhs with the help of Pakhtuns. After getting the power, he tried to force the locals to give their daughters to the other Talibans who came with him from India. That’s why he was killed.
