So did anyone have any difficulty in persuading their husband to start trying for a family???

Not me, but a cousin was having a hard time convincing her husband so eventually she brought him around people with kids. They visited us for a weekend and spend time with my girls. My little one was all over him, sitting on his lap, she had him feed her and she wanted to talk to him and all that. When they went back, she called me and told me that her husband now wants to go ahead with a baby!!!

You know that worked the opposite for my hubs.
being around other people's kid did nothing for him - every now and then he'd be like
boy was that annoyiing -- come Ayman he's a different man.
