Why can't the present Iraqi government investigate all these issues? How come the USA is justice/jury/etc. all rolled into one?
I believe that untill these issues are investigated by impartial judicial investigators, the USA will keep sweeping all war crimes under the carpet.

Simple, because the US govt got the Iraqi govt to sign off all their rights. The US troops are immune from war crimes. They are immune from prosecution within Iraq. The US solider can rape women or kill a child infront of the Iraqi Parliament and the Iraqi can not do anything. Nada. Zilch. Zippo.

yeah i wonder why insurgency doesnt die down in iraq? could it be unprovokoed killing of women & children, torture, or raping of children? Naahh that can't be it. It's probably because they hate america's freedom.
