According to IGN, director Motomu Toriyama told Famitsu](Gaming and Video Game News & Reviews | Engadget) that FFXIII will not require an install on PS3. Furthermore, other than the transition between town and field segments, the game won’t feature any loading screens at all. Toriyama stated that loading time was one of the biggest concerns from the beginning of development.
I wonder how they pulled that off. I'm planning to get it on XBox 360 anyway.
