Despite all the rhetoric regarding power generation in the country, the fact is that not a single megawatt has been added to the system whereas the demand has increased by around 700 MW. Around 500 billion rupees of circular debt was cleared last year which has again risen to…yep 500 billion. The price of electricity during the past year has gone up Astronomically but still the people don’t have the commodity. The electricity bills people receiving this month are around three times the previous month after utilising similar units. There are news circulating that the electricity surcharge will go up. Ramadan going on, brutal heat wave and load shedding to the tune of 8-10 hours. Welcome to roshan Pakistan. Not everything is gloom and doom though, we have got another road in yadgar Lahore.

Aur circular debt ko khtam krne ki wjha se load shedding is less as compared to previous years … accept it or not
