hey wats goin on how come we’re not getting GEO in USA? the online dish guide isn’t showing channel 620 either. that turning off the dish thing doesn’t work either.
Yea, I connected the phone line and left it off for about an hour.. and still nothing! 
know i cant see any geo transmission too..tried doing that setup thingi and turning off reciever but didnt work out.they better start it bu the beginning of march

Ok guys I need your help.
I have Dish network , but I have the American channels only. I don't have the dish with International channels. So can I watch Geo TV on the sattelite with American channels, or would I have to get the satellite for International channels to get geo TV ?

You are not getting GEO TV, as it is only in testing phase. People who are getting it is due to the tiers (programming they have on their card). If you are a suscriber to Dish you will have to wait a week or so.
Dont worry man honestly, you are not missing out on much. GEO is only showing news which is not all that. I think ARY should kick both the channels ass. So lets look up for that. Any idea when that is coming out?

dude, geo isnt just a news channel…best dramas and award winning telefilms are played on geo. along with that, concerts and other functions are shown regularly depending on the occasion. like the zee awards held in dubai were shown 2 days ago and geo was the first one to get the license to air that. unlike ptv prime, geo has more than one talk show than anyone else which are always informatively entertaining…then theres the business news reporter 
i mean they have young and well trained staff to present the programmes unlike ptv. and as for ARY, they despite having acquired 10 channels havent made much of big impact on the pakistani media other than the fact that the ppl in pakistan get 2 watch indian songs and trailers thru ARY since the ban on indian channels has not been lifted yet. ARY will be out later in March.
