No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

The government should take Imran Khan’s threat of two days seriously and bring on motion of no confidence in KPK assembly. They can easily form their government with ANP, JUI and JI. They should not wait for PTI to dissolve the assembly. What ever has transpired during the past few days, PTI has lost the right to rule the province in any case…

The question remains can the government develop the guts to do this?

Let PTI resign from the assemblies and invade the red zone. The government can then tackle them as outlaws. They have taken up Taliban ways in any case.

Lol. I so wish this government could do this.

Might as well cause a full industrial scale political unrest once and for all, and see who survives. You think PTI will remain motionless and optionless through in case of this drama and allow the Nawas league to walk all over them? As an immediate step, they'll cross the Red Zone and call in the army, and game end for everybody.

Imran is a beast. This government will not try to push him against the wall. It's too late, their best bet is still to resolve this crisis through talks and negotiations. And don't tell me that likes of Saad Rafique and Parvaiz Rasheed didn't give this advice to Sharif earlier.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

I don't think NS wants to do that...he just want to give IK enough rope to hang himself. So far, it seems like IK is just doing that. NS would be stupid to make political martyr out of him.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

^ in desperation Pti will then dissolve kpk assembly. The high pedestal they have reached they have run out of options.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

You are implying that JI has essentially agreed to split from PTIs coalition govt? And what 'taliban ways' are we talking about here?

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

Well, I seriously dont think PTI has run out of options. We need to recognize the fact there that here are thousands of people out there on the streets , who are very respectable citizens of Pakistan. We cannot simply disregard their democratic right to question a governments intent , who has let them down on multiple occasions.

How many times do you see the face of Sharif brothers talking to the people of Pakistan? When was the last time you saw the elected Prime minister act as a part of the pakistani nation and stand amongst them like their own and not like a king?

If people have the guts to question Khan in the KPK , why dont they face the mother who sold five of her kids due to poverty and didnt know what other avenues to persue? why dont the people face the relatives of the dead ones who were brought to lahore hospitals on time, yet the patients died due to the lack of medical equipment and medicine and ofcourse electricity !

Why dont the public supporters of the government question the government why they decided to kill their own people in a cold blooded murder through the Police? Why dont they face the man who decided to burn himself alive in front of the parliament house a few months ago ?

Before we disregard the democratic right of thousands of people who are not just following Khan , but are there asking for a change to the system , to the way things are run , I thinks its time , we sit back and appreciate the passion and will power of those who have finally stood up in the face of lying politicians. True that Khan is not a politician. THe last thing this country needs is a politician. They have brought nothing but harm to the country's integrity across the world.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

JI wouldn't want the assembly to be dissolved either. Imran khan does not have any other option now. What would you call the threats to invade the red zone and ransack the parliament/PM house.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

Aah , how simple you are .
The corrupt Lota CM of KPK , who was having no chance to be elected as MPA , how can he do that ?

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

That maybe true, but its better for PTI to commit suicide than become martyrs & that I think is what NS calculation, too.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

Do you think if NS resigned that would change the system? Btw, no one really understands what IK issue is. He asked for recount govt has agreed to it. He has asked for election reforms govt agreed to it. What else doees he wants? And just b/c a political leader brings 30 to 40k people to protest should every govt must resigned? Does that even makes sense? And his own party minsters are doing bangra dance in Islamabad & people in KPK are drowning. Is that naya Pakistan/KPK?

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

This is not a PTI today as it was a PTI yesterday

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

I don't think many people realize that it actually works in Nawas League's favour if PTI maintains it's membership for the parliament.

JI certainly doesn't want breaking of KPK assembly, and if Nawas League listens to its dumb advisers and supporters and installs Mullah Fazlu & Co in KPK, it'll cause political mayhem in the province. And if you hold elections again, PTI will still win enough seats.

Imran Khan says he will make further announcements today, has burnt all his boats. He is right, he has committed political suicide

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

There was some comment on TV yesterday where the guy was saying that the vultures in KPK, like ANP's Asfandayar Wali and JUI-F's Diesel are getting signatures from KPK MPA's for vote of no confidence. Then IK has his speech and there was no further news on this.

Those that think that military will sit back on the sidelines, if and when IK's supporters storm the red zone are mistaken. Nawas and co know this too, they just dont want to admit it. Like many other things they are slow at understanding the gravity of this situation.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

I know, as a citizen of Pakistan, I dont want to see the corrupt faces of Sharif brothers running the government. Even if PML remains in power, get the brothers out who think its their kingdom of Pakistan ! rather then a democratic state .. I dont care about the electoral reform , because the system will not reform until judiciary is free of fraud. Sharif brothers have bought the judiciary as well as compromised the leading institutions of Pakistan by using dirty tactics. Why doesnt Sharif condemn his brother over the brutal killing of the pakistani's in lahore ? why doesnt he condemn his sons who have taken money out of pakistan and building properties left , right and center in london? why doesnt he show his own property that he own in a multimillion dollar business and his business transactions with Indian businessmen, with whome he went on personal meetings despite being on an official visit?

Why should the nation even bear their faces for a second when they have been lying through their teeth , not providing them healthcare, education , security , jobs , you name it.

I dont care what Khan wants for PTI, all I want as a citizen of that country is to see the pathetic chor dakoo's out of the government and them replaced by a new party chairman who should democratically get elected in the party. I want the same done in PTI as well. It should never be about one man's khandan in power ! It invites every vice possible that you can think of.

^^^ I think this tweet sums it up better than I could.

Syed Talat Hussain ‏@TalatHussain12 3m
Extreme conflict will throw out democracy. Another non-democratic era and media shut-down. All can then enjoy change from behind bars.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

Sorry but I do not agree with Talat hussain. If the current state of affairs is democracy , then I am better off without democracy. If democracy means a family or a khandaan should take over all the sugar mills of Pakistan and give power to every rishtedaar in their family, then no thanks, we dont want democracy.

Talat hussain forgets , media shutdown is no different then bikaao media. isnt there evidence enough out there ,that sharif brothers strongly believe in lufafa journalism? if anyone chooses to ignore that and still stand by the lotera's , then by all means stay in the dark thinking you are enjoying democracy , I really thought slavery is gone from the world, but no it will always remain in the form of blind followers of tactful fraudsters ..

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

Only Nooras on GS quote Talat Hussain

the guy has no credibility at all

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

Sorry, I'm not Noora and I would never vote for NS/SS or PMLN, but I would never support anyone who supports terrorists or wants to crash the system so he could become the PM.

re: No confidence motion moved in KPK assembly

PTI not to resign from KPK assembly … BUT

PTI to resign from all assemblies — except KP: Shah Mehmood Qureshi - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Monday said that they have decided to resign from the National Assembly and all provincial assemblies except Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The resignations are to be submitted to the relevant speakers tomorrow morning.
The announcement was made by PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who said that the decision was made after all other options were exhausted by the party in their protests against alleged rigging in the May 2013 general elections.
Qureshi said that discussions are still being held regarding resignations from the K-P Assembly.
Qureshi said that the approach of the government and PTI is as different as day and night.
"Nawaz said the election was the cleanest in Pakistan’s history; we said that it was the worst. He says that the Election Commission was independent, we say it was biased.
“They said that the caretaker government was decided by consensus, we say that two political parties decided the caretaker government…”
The announcement comes comes after PTI chief Imran Khan led thousands of supporters from Lahore to rally in Islamabad to demand the government resign.
