No carbs

Re: No carbs

I'm not exactly on this diet and not sure if I want to begin it. I'm just incorporating some healthier ideas into my diet. My brother who is visiting me right now is really into fitness and nutrition. He's built like a football player and wanted to get a 'bit ripped', to shave off a bit of fat. He's into the whole raw food thing, detoxing the body. I've read a little bit into raw food diet. Although it's not totally no carb since you eat fruits and vegetables, it does cut out all the refined foods.

For breakfast he eats a big plate of fruit and water.

Lunch is a big salad with dressing and vitamins.

Snack on trail mix or nuts.

Dinner is a stirfry with chicken. (may be thai with coconut milk or some type of fat-oil)
Some salad on the side with dressing.

He may occasionally have a couple tablespoons of rice or have a cookie in the evening with a cup of milk. I've been eating the same things with him since we eat meals together. I'll see how it goes. So far it feels good to be eating all this fresh food, but I don't want to cut out too many calories since I'm breastfeeding.
