I live in peshawer, kpk , not some foriegn country , i mean i am on ground and it makes me frustrated to hear about so much crticism on PTI governament but with little or no coverage of their progress. Yes they are not building awesome and shiny projects like metro but they are doing some thing far greater.
I am a layman i would share my layman observations. During ANP times, KPK became most corrupt province in pakistan, i voted for ANP and i soon regretted it. Every job was for sale and every employment on seats was political. Bribes became norm of life and you had to pay bribe in every sarkari department. Now i am hearing and have observed myself that its no longer the case in PTI’s governament. Moreover from day one, they are very strict about attendence in governament institutions, doctors, teachers etc are now very regular and they are taking action against those who are absent for months. Teachers have told me that they do regular inspection of schools. Some jobless guys, that i personally know, are worried that their safarish and bribing is not entertained in the new governament. I have noticed that peshawer roads are now quite cleae, municipal is forced to do its job. Ghair-qanooni tajawuzaat are demolished, without any hesitation throughout province.
All the haramkhors dislike this change and they talk against PTI. Remember not every person is supporter of pti in kpk so kindly dont stereotype and express your shock that look XYZ pathan is talking against PTI on tv.

My in laws batman is from kpk n he tells the same. Especially this attendence thing in schools n hospitals.

Our media also points this thing but they they dont have those projects which they can sell during election campign for votes

I'm sure PTI govt in KpK is much better than ANP's, there shouldnt be any doubt about it. However I think they are much distracted with the issues that their party is entangled with. They are causing trouble for themselves. I'm 110% sure if they change the fate of people in this province as they had promised in elections nobody can stop them from coming in power in next elections.
Thats exactly what Modi did in India by setting an example in Gujrat. And it doesnt hurt to learn good acts from your dislikes as well.

Thank you marwati for sharing your personal knowledge/experience. I do believe PTI can do much better than any of the current nincompoop parties/governments in other provinces but unfortunately that is not something you can sell as other posters said. Pervez Khattak needed to stay in KPK and should've visited dharna once in a while if PTI was not giving up govt in KPK. PTI has set a very bad example by having Khattak dancing in Islamabad while the KPK suffers his absence.

We need to have competition in development, rather than empty slogans. Heard interview of ANP leader today and he stated that he wants PTI complete its term and then to face the public of KP. He stated that no projects have been launched by PTI, and any projects that they are working on are projects initiated by ANP.
