niqabis/hijabis

so how do u breathe through those things ?? :konfused: I tried it and iwas sufocating :bummer: And do any of u ever have bad-hijab days (instead of bad-hair days :halo: ), like it keeps slipping and wn’t cooperate ? Is it normal to not be able to turn yr head? :bummer:

Re: niqabis/hijabis

hmm hijaab if u r talking about as a head scarf, then i don’t breath from my head

Its not bad actually…in winter its better …get hot in summer but then get used to it:smokin:

About slipping hijaab from ur head, depends on which kind a cloth it is…i don’t wear it like loose on my head…i cover it properly with pins so it never comes off! :smooth:

Re: niqabis/hijabis

 ufff…it is all depending on the cloth…and shampoo:D

if the hair is very silky, and the dupatta too…then it is so sleepy :bummer:…little wind, and it’s gone:crying: …
not trun your head?? …if the hijab/dupatta is well adjust on your head… no problem!

Re: niqabis/hijabis

the whole thing about material and pins and shampoo is true but i still have bad hijab days sometimes, guess its life

Re: niqabis/hijabis

Evil I wore it in the summertime, for 3 months ! I’m surprised i stuck that long :bummer: But i had such an awful time with it, i felt hideously ugly and i wasn’t comfortable (physically) wiht it at all.. but i c all these pretty scarves at H&M and i feel like wearin em (bad reason :bummer: ).. :k: to all u who can do it :halo:

Re: niqabis/hijabis

sara, some material are mre comfy!! i mean light cotton is best in summer!

Re: niqabis/hijabis

I wore duputtas, tried pinning them etc

Re: niqabis/hijabis

hmmm the best duppattas i have are those light veils with heavy decoration, as it is light fabric i don’t feel warm and the weight keeps the veil down when wrapped properly! no need for pins!:clown: and it is sho pretty!!

Re: niqabis/hijabis

When I wear hijaab (like to the Musjid and stuff), I don't wear the silky kind of material that slips around everywhere. My sister does hijaab and she taught me how to put the duputta around your head and pin it in the back it looks really pretty I like it. :)

Re: niqabis/hijabis

I dont wear hijab, but I look like I do with what I wear. I find the best thing to be those cloth things that cling to your head and cover the forehead slightly, and on top of that, wearing a cotton dupatta. It doesnt slip usually due to the friction. The only issue is the long ends of the dupatta hanging, but you can tie that in a knot in the back (I prefer not to tie it, unless I will play sports or somefin).

Re: niqabis/hijabis

Its a scarf we’re talkign about, not a helmet !

Re: niqabis/hijabis
