I was just wondering if any of you guys read Nimrah Ahmed’s “Qara Qaram” and what do you guys think of it.

and what do you guys think of her other writings

just cuz of this thread i searched for Nimrah Ahmed. i didnt read this specific novel that you mentioned but i just read mere khawb mere jugnu.

i have to say i love it. it is simple and sweet. and honestly i really like the idea that nimrah didnt use same ghissi pitti love story of beautiful ppl being all lovey dovey. instead she showed two ppl who belongs to same world and same going through the same kind of pains.

i really liked how she used Khalil Jibran quote "Tanhai ka shikwa kabhi Khuda say mut kerna, kion k wo to khud Tanha hai" as a core premisses in defining their unconditional love.
....that indeed needs to prove a lot.

Just read Nimrah Ahmed's 'Qara Qaram Ka Taj Mahal' Part 1. She shows great potential. Her research was extensive and the way she has described the beauty of mountains is just lovely. I'll look for part 2 and then post more of my comments. For now, Nimrah Ahmed is on my list of favs that includes Umerah Ahmed, Aniisa Saleem,Nighat Abdullah and many many more.
