I’m looking to get a faster lens for portraits and stuff and am confused between the 50mm 1.4 and 1.8. Other than the extra f-stop i dont see that much of a difference (the 1.8 one has one less element but is 3/4 the weight) but the 1.8 is a third of the price of the 1.4. Anybody aware of any other differences? Does that one extra f-stop make a lot of difference?
