hey girls
quick question- my nikkah will be beofre my baraat day it will be a small affair at home.
What should i wear? i mean how am i meant ot be dressed simple or Over?
also do the in laws provide u with the outfit for the nikkah day or will i have ot get it myself?

also another questions girls who are wearing long shirt and lengha style on one of their days what u wearing on the other day? a normal lengha or same sort of style?

I would go with simple if its a small affair at home. Light colours look cute for such an occasion. Light pinks, light blue's, whites etc? Maybe a peshwas, gharara type outfit.
I'm not sure about in laws providing the dress I think it works differently in every family. I'd rather be able to pick my own!
I'm only having one day reception so I cannot comment on the next day clothes but when I had thought It would be two days I had a floor gown for the bharat and a long shirt lengha (upto knees) for the walima.

i was thinking of getting a nice white suit made for my nikkah with really elegant kaam on it was thinking maybe long shirt with trouser or something!!!!

Don't look tooo simple. Of course you want to look different from the barath day. Nikah day is important too. Lots of pictures and video been made. Look good. You can wear a nice anarkali. Try to wear a different color from what you will wear on your wedding and walima day.

simple but elegant ofcourse. you should do something opposite from your wedding evening gowns so it looks different from one day to the next. the suit you have in mind sounds perfect!

It's your wedding day! Why not go all out for both? Why simple? Do you wear makeup and dress up everyday of your life? Then why go simple on your wedding day? Make it great day to remember forever!

hmm, I would suggest pinks or peaches for nikkaah (unless yr barat dress is in the same color palette) white sounds gorgeous n very sophisticated as well esp coupled with a light Kundan jhumkas or ballies :) Good luck hun!
