** in islam, women do NOT have the right to divorce their husbands in teh same manner as men can, by uttering word "talaaq" three times over her three mentural periods [the proper and right way prescribed by Allah so that mediation can take place to explore possibilities for couples to reconcile] OR some morons do it in one sitting like divorce three times in one shot [thats the misuse of talaaq and punishable by law, it denies the woman to find mediation for reconciliation], she have to go to a qaazii [judge] and ask for Khulaa [same as talaaq] and then she can receive it even for as simple a reason as saying...i do NOT like my husband. Islam is veru lenient with Khulaa while a judge might not...mudda'ii sust gawaah chust...lol**
thank u for your explanation....
but khulaa and talaaq r technically different things, and in such a case the woman need not go to the court asking the judge for khulaa....
she shud demand the judge to effect "talaaq"....
