Hey girls I just wanted all of your opinion on the following matter:
it turns out that i might be having my nikkah on the mehndi day instead of the usual day of the ruksati because my parents want to keep the nikkah more intimate
anyways so I am confused on what to wear on that day since it will be a nikkah/mehndi and i don’t want to be all plain jane in yellow
any thoughts?

You don't have to wear yellow. You can wear saffron, olive green, pink...

y dont u have ur nikah in the mrning around lets say zuhur time so u can wear a different outfit then and then ur mehndi in the evening so a diffrnt outfit then :D 2outfits in a day!! if not then pink is nice or burnt orange

I remember the day when mendhi nights women wore green, anyhow why not get a nice anarkali styled dress made that way it's a bit more dressy than the avg brightly colored salwar kameez girls tend to wear on their mendhis.

we are planning to do the same (Nikkah and mehndi together), and i was thinking of wearing a anakali, like the picture i posted. the color is still green but the shade is so little that it looks right for the nikkah.

im having the same thing with the mehndi an nikah on the same day...and initally thought about wearing 2different outfits...but friends have said that nowadays brides get quite dressed up for the mehndi so by choosing the right colour i could wear jus the 1 outfit!!!
