There was a religious program on ARY and something similar Hadith was said as N-Y-R said. I think Paki girls should feel lucky because their ceremony (religion part) is so short that it starts and within 5-10 minutes maulvi ask bride and groom permission, get the sign and make dua and that's it compare to the other religions like Sikh, Hindu, Christians, Chinese, Philippines, who take much longer time to complete the marriage (religious part) and have to sit for hours. In some religions girl have to do several long prayers few days before the actual ceremony day and in some cases newly wed couple even have to do some more prayers when bride and groom go into the room. All I know that the girl and the boy must be clean by doing the Islamic shower (showering to make herself/himself Paak) before the ceremony. Now don’t slap me by saying baywaqoof everyone knows this responsibility and how could this happen or how could someone be that much senseless…. All I say…..You don’t want know the stories!!!!!!!!!!!
