Re: nikah namah translated
If it's the standard Pakistani one (with no added bits), you can find that easily. I'm sure someone on here can even send the translated version to you. The only thing you then need to do, is fill it in with the same information as in the original (names, dates, etc) and possibly get it attested if required.
Re: nikah namah translated
thats odd, when i got married, in pakistan, the nikah nama was both in english and urdu.....thought it was standard........they come together, the urdu version and then the english version....
Re: nikah namah translated
everyone has their own version in different formats and styles .. hell even mine lol ..
but one thing is that they all have the same thing on it ..and same rules etc ..
although i havnt had the need to translate mine in uk/english .. what i could think of is .. get it translated by a professional translator /although theres nothing to it if you knw the concept of a nikah nama .. and then just get it attested by a certified solicitor ..
btw, what do u even need it for .. i mean the english .. ![]()
Re: nikah namah translated
if you need it translated, i dont understand why sign it......i know its tradtion to blindly sign these forms, its hell annoying when i hear people dont know what they are signing, why complain after...if you know your getting married, im sure you can get a copy beforehand and get someone to translate, or even better, if you dont understand urdu, as i didnt, i was given an english version as well, if i hadnt been given it, i wouldve made sure everyone knew i wasnt happy with it....
My thoughts exactly!
