And all people living in Islamabad, do you know if the main hall is always open or is it only on the special occasions like eid?
I went there last year but the main hall was closed…thats the really pretty place. So if one wants to have the nikah done there, it should be in the main hall..

Sounds weird but can one have the photoshoot there?..not a "romantic" one, but just a normal nice photoshoot :P

I had my Nikaah there in March 2011. It was a beautiful day and the location just added to that. The masjid Imam along with the other people involved there were so co-operative :-) it was great alhumdulillah and I would recommend it

My cousin had his Nikkah there almost 5 years ago. Gents were in the main hall and ladies were in a seperate room.
A professional photographer was not hired for the occasion but I don't think there would have been an objection to that, as most guests took pictures on their private cameras too.

Of course it can’t. It’s a Masjid, not a Shaadi Hall.

Yep, when we had our Nikkah it was held separately. The men were seated in the main hall, and the ladies were in the hall above. As for having a photoshoot in the grounds, we did that and the shots turned out beautifully :)

i know, i just didnt think of it...i love the main hall...but whats the point if one cant even take a picture of the couple there
