what r the pros and cons of it?

PS:can mods make it a public poll plz..

Re: Nightclubs for kids

Never seen one under 13.. They make ones under 16 though which my friends currently go to.. One of em like 3 weeks ago got out of hand, kids got high and the cops came lol.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

pros and cons?

Re: Nightclubs for kids

If it's for young kids wouldn't it be without alcohol etc and more just like a normal party? In which case I don't see the big deal and yes, I would let my kids go..

Re: Nightclubs for kids

I wouldn't. You're basically just introducing your kids to the party culture and telling them it's okay. Eventually they WILL progress to real partying.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^ they will get into the "party culture" anyway!! nothing wrong with parties :D

Re: Nightclubs for kids

If it's specifically called a "night club" rather than a kid's party or whatever, then the implications are different. To me it's kind of on the lines of those breast feeding dolls discussed in the parents' section.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

anyone remember the UK daytime disco phenomenon :-D

Re: Nightclubs for kids

My kids are gonna be locked up in a Cellar and will never hear of the existence of anything called a cell phone , computer , tv or nightclub.......

Re: Nightclubs for kids

I don’t see any pros in it.

Kids can have fun by doing so many other activities, they really dont need a nightclub :chai:

And what Rizla said.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

They had a club for 14-18 year olds near our house about 10 years ago. Anyhow, I wouldn't want my kids to be in that type of environment.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

sorta like the padded bikinis for young girls?

why do we need a kid version of everying. ?

Re: Nightclubs for kids

Daytimers !!! Huh ... Stay away

Re: Nightclubs for kids

I was thinking if it's not actually called a 'night club' it might prob be more like a youth club type thing.. I can't picture under 13s staying out very late in that sort of environment either..

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^youth clubs are different and have obviously been around for a long time.

night clubs are night clubs.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^I really don't believe there are actual 'night clubs' for under 13s.. not in the sense that they could be labelled as such..

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^that is not the topic. topic is about a documentary that talked about night clubs.

not YMCA's.

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^Well I'm just saying I don't know how they can be labelled night clubs and calling them that is misleading as I doubt they're anything like real night clubs..

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^then the topic seems redundant if they really aren't night clubs...

Re: Nightclubs for kids

^Well OP herself doesn't seem to know..
