Night feeding and formula question

How long can i keep formula at room temp if its prepared n baby doesnt drink or drinks a little?

For those of u who bottlefeed and bay wakes up at odd hour at night do u run to kitchen to prepare it or keep it by ur bedside in advance? My baby prefers warm milk so wat shud i do in that case?

Re: Night feeding and formula question

Keep warm water in flask with you, along with sterilised feeders. Also if you want you can pre measure formula into storage containers.
Or keep an electric bottle warmer and pre measure just water into feeders.

Re: Night feeding and formula question

Formula needs to be used within 2 hours if it is unrefridgerated. And it has to be discarded after 1hr (some say 2) of the beginning of the feeding.

It is better to keep warm water in a flask in your bedroom. And keep formula powder pre-measured in a container like this:Amazon.com: Sassy Baby Powdered Formula Dispenser, Colors May Vary: Baby
Just mix as needed.
