What a terrible tragedy. Does anyone know what the cause of this bombing was? The only motive floated so far has been that it was part of a bank robbery plot.
Everywhere, women were crying for their lost relatives. A mother could not be consoled after she returned from church and found that her children were unaccounted for.
No words to describe how awful this must be.

The popular account is that the bank was blown up to cover fraud or to facilitate a robbery. Residents said that four men dressed in dark suits went into the bank premises in the morning and emerged 30 minutes before the blast. …] But the Prudent Bank’s head of corporate affairs, Ademola Akinbola, told the French news agency, AFP, that later investigations had disproved this theory. “The explosion was not within the bank, although it suffered extensive damage. Not certain what that “28” implies. It was apparently just last week that Nigeria had commemorated another explosion that claimed the lives of approximately 1000 individuals.

Has anyone heard of many world leaders calling [whats his name? whoever's in charge of Nigeria] to give their condolences?? (Im not trying to disrespect the astronauts, but...)
Space travel and it's accidents are a global issue, a bank robbery is not. There are 40,000 deaths per year in automobile accidents in the continental US every year, not to many leaders are sending their condolences towards those familes either.
yeah, why is the shuttle explosion more important than this one? i only found out about Nigeria on a news ticker on the tv.

and can you believe that people were looting and fighting over the money when there were victims crying for rescue??? no matter how much in need you are for the money, this kinda behaviour is just disgusting.
