Reading the comment in the other thread about Waqar referring to Warne as ‘Warnie’ on air reminded me about the various affectionate nicknames players make up for the opposition’s players. Heard any interesting on air or at the grounds?
Not Darren-Lehmann-on-Sri-Lankans types but milder, more gentlemanly ones. Like when Pak/Ind batsman affectionately call out McGrath’s name when they’ve nicked him behind, but because their angrezi is so poor they just manage to utter the abridged form “MC”.
