This. Blech…bleurgh…yuck!!! Somehow jaani is worse than jaan. I know someone who calls her husband “jaan ji.” Wasn’t jaan enough for her…did she have to tack on the “ji” at the end and make it super-saccharine? Let’s cringe together, strangeworld.

Who ..in today’s world…or even in bygone days addressed their SO as mehboob/a? :konfused: Mainly it’s heard in songs. It’s among the few we’re safe from. Unless…wait…don’t tell me…you call your SO mehbooba don’t you? And she responds with “Ji Majnoo Ji” :chai:

It was never normal. Anybody who ever found out was like “WTF?” He named my computer, ipad, iphone, and even the DVR Pehlwaan. He wanted the world to know!
