Well as the title says, are there any nick name rules on GS? I mean is it OK to have offensive nick names such as “StinkyBhindiansSuck” ? Or maybe other nick names which aren’t offensive but “un-islamic” such as “Pakistani Masturbation”? This is a serious question BTW. The reason why I’m asking is a member called “CrankThatSkunk”'s screen name, which means “Masturbate that Skunk”.
It’s just weird seeing someone with such a screen name talking about Islam and all. Would get the same feeling if someone with a nick name like “Masturbating Fantasy” would be talking about Islam and labeling other people as Kafir because they have a different opinion.
So are there any rules? If no, should there be any?
I have a nick name in Hangul script and I have been having Problems because of it. So maybe there should be certain rules, such as the nick name being in Roman script etc…yeah?
There are rules about screen names, no offensive or distatseftul niks are allowed, but because there are so many registrations everyday, some of the offensive nicks slip through the cracks but we remove them as soon as someone notices.

BTW, being a desi I would never be able to tell the meaning of "CrankThatSkunk" so if someone uses a foreign expression to say something distasteful on GS then its not easy to catch that. Its not GS's fault and they should not be questioned on why they allowed that nick.
with all due respect, your Hangul script nick could mean womething wierd too, who knows? How would we tell if it means innoncet angel or Pak Enemy and that is why your nick has been questioned all the times.
