ehhhhh I know it’s a very wide’n spread topic but I really neeed it..
I am in Norway and writing an essay about womens rights and hijaab\marriage..etc…and I want to tell ppl that we aren’t door-mats..eh so faar it’s been abit confusing lekin I would appreciate all the help I get…just think of the ajjar you’ll get!!! heyyyyy plz allah ki zaat per mere lye kouch time nikaldijye!!!

Please read the book "Women in Islam" by Fatima Marnessi, who is a Professor in University of Morocco. An excellent book on the subject matter. Though I do not agree with some of the points she raised about our Prophet, otherwise it is a perfect book to represent correctly the women in Islam, their rights and responsibilities. you will definitely enjoy by reading it and get more than enough knowledge for your essay.

Woman in Islam, well she is a mother, a sister, a wife and a daughter. Yeh rishtay kitnay pak hain, hum sab jantay hain. (excuse me, but i can explain better in urdu) Islam main aurat ko jo muqam dia woh itna buland, pak aur azem hay key maghrabee mumalik is ka tasawwar bhi nahin karsaktay. Haan jo log women rights ki baat kertay hain woh bhi is baat say ittifaq nahin karaingaay.
Islam main aurat ka bila jawaz bahar nikalna mana hay, agar zaroorat paray to woh ghar say nikal saktee hay jiss key liay hijab zaroori haay (aap ko hijaab ka to pata hoga). Mardoon key sath sath kaam karna, hansna, gupshup lagana, yeh sab haram hay. Eik hadith main hazoor sallalaho alaihay wassallam ney bataya key jo aurtain mardoon key darmian main say khushbo laga kar guzartee hain un per jannat ki hawa haram hay.
Azadi kis ko pasand nahin hotee, lakin islam woh deen hay jiss key asool duniya bananay walay ney banaay hain.
Kia aap yeh samaghtay hain key aurat ki azadi say woh taraqee karay gee, no way,
kia zina key waqiat un ilaqoon main ziada hotay hain jahan aurtain azad khula ghoomtee hain ya wahan hotay hain jahan aurtain hijab main hotee hain, is ka jawab ap khud dain. Main qatar main rehta hoon, aur yahan mashallah aurtain agarcha 100% sahih nahin hain magar phir bhi yahan kafee had tak hijab hota hay, aur yehee wajah hay key yahan zinna key bohot he kaam cases hotay hain.
Musalman bhi aj kal wohe kar rahay hain, jo christians aur jews ney kia, changing there religion, jaisay sharab peenay wala bolay ga key Quran main kaheen bhi sharab haram nahin hay, to main to pionga, lakin ahadith say pata chalta hay key sharab haram hay. Isi tarah Aurat ko woh karna chahiaay jo islam main hay, Aurat ka kaam apnay maan baap ki khidmat aur jab shadee ho jaay to khawand aur bachoon say khuloos, aur bachoon ki parwarish.
Aurtoon ki taleem bila shuba jaaiz bulkey zaroori hay.
Ummeed hay is say aap ko Islam main aurat ka maqam samaghney main madad zarrorr milay gee, albatta mujhay yaqeem hay aap yeh sam apni research report main nahin likh sakaingee.
Agar america walay WOMAN RIGHTS muslim aurtoon ko chahiaay to unhain chahiaay apna mazhab change karlain phir chahain jahan marzee jaeen, jo marzee chahay pehnain.
Islam main jo women rights hain woh Ajkal key women rights say bilkul juda hain.

Main aik buhat "muhazzab" office may kam karti hoon jis may ziada tar larkian hain, laikin aik adha larka bhee hai. Hum sub aik doosray ko ikhlaq aur adab kay sath miltay hain. Obviously, may mutahajjiba libas pehenti hoon aur kabhi public may perfume nahin lagati. Agar aurtain in usoolon ki tabiadari kartay huay upni taaleem mukammil karain to iss may koi harj hay?

Lakin unhain chahiaay key woh parday ka khial rakhain. Well, mera khial hay mard aur khawateen dono key alag alag taleemi idaray honay chahiaay. Is tarah jo log is wajah say apni beteon ko university ya college nahin bhaijtay key wahan larkay bhi partay hain, woh bhi bhaijaingaay.
Aur main mazrat chahta hoon key mainey aap ko dair say jawab dia, asal main mainey yeh topic aj he daikha hay.

*The bible says “the birth of a doughter is a loss”. The Qur’an says both are an equal blessing (Ash-Shura 42:49)
*The bible forbids women from speaking in church (Corinthians 14:34-35)
The Qur’an says women can argue with the prophet (SAW) (Al-Mujadilah 58:1)
*The Bible convicts women as the original sinners,
(i,e Eve picking from the forbidden tree-------->Genesis 2:4-3:24) The Qur’an clarifies it was Adam not Eve
(Al-A’raf 7:19-35)

This is not true. In the Quran it is clearly wrttten that Men are a degree higher than women.
Women are only half witness in the court of law.
Women only get half inheritence as compared to men.
Women as qouted by the Hadith are deficeint in intelligence, and relegion.
So in Islam women are not equal to men. Ofcourse Islam gave some rights to women but I dont think it is correct to say that it gave them equality with men.

lekin sonnye jii..I said that they are seen equally upon in the sight of GOD..lekin in life they are given different roles...isn't it up to us wheather we say that we have less value or just accept the fact that we're different?

You are right in what your saying but the part about Hadhrat Adam (A.S.) was a bit dodgy. It was Hadhrat Adam (A.S.) who picked the apple but both were accountable.
During the Christian Era the christian priests used to have discussions about whether a woman had a soul or not.
It also says in the bible 'Its better to wed women than to burn them'.
In England there were men who used accuse women of being witches. This was proved or disproved by throwing the woman into a deep lake. If she didn't drown then she was a witch and was tied up and burnt to death but if she drowned then she wasn't!!!!
These same people are trying to teach us women's rights!!!
Islam started feminism. The Arabs used to burn their daughters alive before Islam came to them.
Feminism in the west is actually discrimination against men and actually worsens the relationship between men and women.
Islam improves the relationship between men and women.
