please i need some urgent help of you guys please i need a good birthday cake recipe my brothers birthday is next friday and i want to surprise him with something really nice and good cuz he has done so much for me this past year, one request no box mix please thanks if there is a thread already where i can find recipes please could u direct me to it and have this thread closed.

Here is a vanilla cake I love, have made it a few times and always a hit. Am making it again this weekend for my MIL’s birthday. I layer it with whipped cream and strawberries. Usually covered with either buttercream or fondant, but this time will do chocolate ganache.
