Nice Base Outfits

Here are some nice base salwar kameez outfits I found online. I think the designs themselves are very versatile, and can be updated into really nice fashionable creations. Especially the second one, which really caught my eye. If you change the color, to say, deep red or a soft pink, then do the body with some nice beadwork, it can turn out to be a great outfit. The red one seemed simple and pretty. Shows how nicely a fitted outfit can look on a person, as opposed to a free-size one.

I like the 2nd one. And i agree, fitted clothes always make a person look better than loose, baggy ones.

Why don’t ready made clothes come in different sizes ? Is everyone a “free size?”.. Honestly i prefer ready made stuff, coz i find it a waste of time and energy n money to go buy fabric, get the kaam done, then give it to a darzi, only so they screw it up and/or dont give u anything on time (or in my case, not even do it after three weeks, coz the chalk outline for the embroidery had faded !! ).. i dont find it worth the trouble to get a simple outfit made (excluding xtra fancy/bridal dresses), that u can pick up at liberty or pace for 650.. but the only problem is the size.. i think a lot of these shops would do much better if they had various sizes, instead of just “free size” ! .. at least , that’s what I would do if i had a boutique, i’d have a ladies only staff, a proper fitting room, and offer quick alterations for free..

I have that black one its really really flattering no matter what your figures like becasue it accentuates and slims in the right places.

I’d wear the second one with some alteration,
deepen the neckline for some cleavage, shorten the kameez lenght and change the shalwar to those fitted pants type shalwars.

i been to some stores in karachi who offered me alteration in only 50Rs extra which i think is not bad at all
