Based on your experience, what are some good & economical hotels to stay in Niagara Falls, Canada? Two things which are important to have is that the hotel needs to be clean and walking distance to the falls. Pricewise, I’d prefer to stay close to $100 but can stretch to 150/night if it is really worth it.
If I were to do it again, I would highly recommend Sheraton at the Falls. It was a wonderful experience and the falls view from our room was spectacular. But considering I have a few other people coming along this time, it would get too expensive.
On a side note, I gambled with Hotwire yesterday and got very unlucky with a 3 star hotel. After I came to know the hotel name, I found out on other sites that it is a 2.5 star hotel. I didn’t realize that Hotwire would include such no name and low rated hotels in thier lineup. I don’t think there is any way to get my money back, but I’d rather have a comfortable stay than stay at a hotel where people are complaining about how nasty thier linens are and rooms crawling with bugs.
and checked victoria Inn rates … they are pretty OK for Fridya Night but expensive for Sat night, overall for the whole weekend of June 27th, they are under your budget

"So i went there for my birthday weekend....this place is owned by a little italian family..and at 4am they got their older cousin to come to our rooms and try and kick us out supposedly for being too loud..which we weren't at all as half of us were sleepin..instead of being nice and proffessional the male went on to say he will grab a baseball bat and 10 of his boys to come kick our asses, called me a braud, and said he is gunna strart throwing people over the balcony and call the cops and say we were so hammered we fell over. wow..if u want a fun place to chill with your friends do not come here! rudest people ive ever encountered. and death threats for your birthday?"
