first i want to ask if there are any hockey fans here. i’m not a “die hard” fan but a fan nonetheless.
Have u guys heard about toronto-san jose trade? Toronto did a good job of snacthing their star player for trading alyn macaully, baron bates (i guess!) and their first round pick. can’t believe san jose actually did that. how can they let owen nolan be traded to some other team? its like toronto trading matt sundin for someone(s) 
what do you guyz think about that?

yeah, it really was a good move.......... probablly the biggest trade of the season but toronto's penalty killing will suffer since macaully was pretty useful at these times.
Owen Nolan was pretty good last night against vancouver. he scored two goals.i guess everyone in toronto who doubted whether if it was a good move to trade for owen nolan now are sure that it sure was a good move.
btw, did brad boyes ever play for toronto? i've don't remember ever seeing him on ice. he probablly mostly plaed for st.johns maple leafs.
glad as hell we got nolan. we woulda been dead if wasnt playin yesterday.
By now they've also goten Wesley from the 'canes. A good effort by Quinn, I've always liked his "fix the current problem, the future will fix itself" approach.
For all it's worth, Nolan's trade doesn't do much to bolster the Leafs' defence; which is their weaker point.

Nopz...
actually he was invited in the pre season camp and was suppose 2 replace macualy. well i think they didnt' like his effort and ship him back 2 baby leafs.

then basiclly we traded macually and first round draft pick for nolan :D
Now leafs are a much better team than they were just 2 days ago.they now have owen nolan and expert defenceman glen wesley from hurricanes. he was one of the reason toronto lost to hurricanes in eastern final last year. wesley is probablly happy since he came out of the worst team in the east this season.
Now we have a good super good offence and good defence

one star player after another. toronto made 4 trade recently (in total) but the latest one is of doug gilmoure. he's back in toronto.we also got a defenceman ian. he is probablly the least talked about trade in toronto but he is quite useful.
pat quinn is not letting go any chance he sees that'll win him the stanley cup this season. what do u guyz think?
