NHL - Ice Hockey

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

Why are Canadiens so pathetic? They are going to be creamed tonight.

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

pff, i you understood the chemistry of Hockey - then you would have know that Sens let em win - so that there would be more chances for a canadian team to win the cup…and also the sens felt pity for them :D.

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

Eastern Conference Semi-Finals:

Sabres wins the series 4-1 against the Sens…and will be facing either carolina or NJ for the conference finals…sens really missed Dominik Hasek’s goal-tending…not to mention that none of the big guns at the front line really fired up during the series…:k: for buffalo

Carolina and NJ series is tipped in carolina’s favour 3 - 1, and they can wrap it up tonite, already leading 2-1 in towards the end of the 2nd period…i hope carolina wins

Western Conference Semi-Finals:

Anahiem sweeped the series 4 - 0 against Colorado…that was a big surprise for me…i was expecting Colorado to do better…Anahiem will face either San Jose or Edmonton for the western conference finals…

By far the most interesting series so far,** Sharks & Oilers are tied at 2 - 2** and the crucial game 5 is on tonite @ 10 pm EST…San Jose took the first 2 games, but Edmonton has come back really strong to win the next 2, and hope to make it 3 in a row tonite…and of course, go on to win the series…lets see what happens

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

Wow, Toronto didn't make the playoffs and the Sens STILL choke? Granted, Buffalo is a really good team but come on. If i was an Ottawa fan, though i see no reason for anyone to be one, i would be really pissed. Dominik Hasek or not, Ray Emery did an ok job and they should have been able to pull a series win.

But the Edmonton and San Jose series is looking pretty entertaining so far. Edmonton must be doing something right to keep the oppostion scoring low.

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

Edmonton Oilers won game 6 with a score of 2-0 against the San Jose Sharks. Having won the series 4-2, they now advance to the Western conference finals against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks :k:

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

:nook:

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

^^ San Jose fan? :D

comeon...The Oilers outplayed the sharks in every aspect of the game...winning the faceoffs, aggresive checking, good penalty kills etc...

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

Whatever u guys say,, but u gotta admit it, the canadiens were a tough team. carolina made it look like a piece of cake sweeping the devils when the canadiens gave them a hard time!

Go oilres Go!

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

wowwww…what a game tonite b/w edmonton and anaheim…edmonton oilers won the game with a final score of 5-4 and hence lead the series 3-0, with home ice advantage for the next game where they can clean sweep it! And i hope they do :bhangra:

the other series between buffalo sabres and carolina hurricanes is tied 1-1…i’d like to c buffalo win that one and go on to face edmonton for the stanley cup finals

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

ufff...DM you haven't updated all the NHL fans yet? :p
i'm very disappointed in you :D

so the Carolina Hurricanes advanced to the finals last night, beating out Buffalo by a score of 4-2.

so come monday night, the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricans will be playing for the Stanley Cup...

all i have to say is..

GO OILERS!!

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

The forgotten game! :p

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

nooo..can't be forgotten! :p

game seven is on tonight!
this is it ...the last game for this year's hockey season...

sooo ..the oilers vs. the hurricanes...

will report back after the game is done

we're so bringing the stanley cup home to canada where it belongs :D

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

^ hahaha tell me about it. With the World Cup soccer going on and NBA finals and ofcourse baseball, does anyone even care bout this game except maybe the Canadians and maybe the people from that pind in Carolina

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

At one time, Carolina Hurricanes were leading the series 3-1 and on the verge of lifting the Stanley Cup, and then Edmonton pulled two out to level the series.

Puck drops for Game 7 tonight at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT). I am pretty sure it is likely the lowest-rated NHL season (who the heck gets OLN, anyway), but the final game is on NBC, and anyone who is even half interested in the game of ice hockey will have plenty to enjoy (especially since there is no world cup soccer game or NBA final going on tonight). This final game is in Carolina.

Cheers!

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

annnnnnddddd we lost :o

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

Canadians couldnt even win the only game that they are good at? :omg: :rotfl:

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

it’s somewhat amusing… but the majority of the players on the ice were almost all canadian, even on the american team.

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

awwww even canadians dont want to play for canadaian teams :(

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

^ Hahaha.. 5Abi... don't put more namak mirch on their zakhm. First Leaf couldn't even make it to the Play offs, which turned-off bulk of our Toronto guppies, and now this.

Actually, I think Edmonton did pretty well to stretch the series to 7 games, and salvage some pride. At one time, this series looked over with fewest number of games.

Re: NHL - Ice Hockey

I believe we beat Amreekans at their “National Past-time” pretty recently
