NFL

gruden wasnt fired he wanted to leave oakland and he left..anyways they are too old to play the full 60 minutes of football

First... ya Gruden wasnt fired... nobody couldnt do anything to keep him in Oakland... even if Davis didnt make a deal... next year he would have left...

Second... the defense sucked... 1/2 down they hecka pressured Garcia and didnt let him do much... but 4 times in a row on 3rd down they let him run 10+ yards...
pass defense sucked before... still sucks... but the rush defense... is faling... every week... They lost to chargers in overtime cuz they couldnt stop Tomilson... they lost to niners cuz they couldnt stop Garcia on 3rd downs...

The offense runs out of options when they reach the end zone... they desperately need Wheatley...

The next game is really really important... Monday Night Against Denver...
They must win...

playoffs... seem tough for raiders now... cuz of the 4 divisions now... the west is really tough... i see the Chargers making it... but Raiders are really starting to look doubtful

Tonights Monday night game:
Raiders vs. Broncos.

All you Raiders fans, make some N O I S E !! ! ! ! !

Big game tonight specially for Raiders!
I hope they win but Broncos are looking good this year.

Steelers vs Falcons was the best game I have ever seen, it was simply amazing.

Did anybody see OU get beat by Texas A&M on saturday, that was also another good game.

^ yup… they lost their #1 rank…
steelers-falcons… wow… what a game… :k:

GO RAIDERS!!!

JUST WIN BABY!

(i hope they win)

I like collage football a whole alot better than NFL.
Its more fun, more people, faster and younger guys, alot more action.

I am a big Texas Longhorn fan, since I go to their collage.

I hope Miami and Ohio State loose their games next week, so Texas can be number 1 again.

Man, Raiders played a picture perfect game. After a several years of disappointments at the Mile High stadium, they finally beat Denver. Three of the oldest Raiders played a major role in thsi victory - Gannon with 34 of 38 passing for 352 yards, 3 TDs - Jerry Rice with 9 catches for 103 yards and 2 TDs receptions - Rod Woodson who returned an interception pass 98 yards.

Also worthy of mention are Romanowskiand Charles Woodson.

The second catch rice made… :k: that one was awesome… and the pass Gannon threw to Porter for TD… wow… it didnt seem like a tough pass… but it was an awesome throw… between to defenders…

After a while denver got tired of two man line… lol… couldnt stop Gannon… 21 straight catches… awesomeeee

New England offense Sucked… the Raider defense pounded them

13 pts for Pats coming from special teams… 7 by the defense… off the lucky interseption… that was unbelievable…

Raiders got somewhat easy games for two weeks… Cardinals and Jets… lets hope they keep winning

damn chargers and broncos won… so Raiders still a game behind…

Revenge is sweet :D

The Raiders defense sacked Super-bowl MVP Brady four times and held the soon-to-be-dethroned-champions Patriots to just 220 yards of total offense. Oakland's defense did not allow an offensive touchdown all evening. Gannon just missed his eighth 300-yard passing game of the season while RB Charlie Garner accounted for over 100 yards of total offense.

It was roughly nine months ago, on a stormy night in Foxboro, the Raiders got cheated in the blizzard. The AFC semifinal game hinged on a controversial no-fumble call. The Pats went on to win the Superbowl, while the Raiders spent the next 10 months fuming over the "snow-job" at Foxboro.
This Sunday it was payback time for Raiders :D

"They took something very valuable from us last year," Raider tight end Roland Williams said. "They took the world championship and our chance to win one. You try to be professional and forget about it. However, you can't. Because we stayed up many a night being very sick about what happened in Foxboro.... This is a nice punch in the gut."

The Raider defense hurried Patriot quarterback Tom Brady all night, sacking him four times and keeping New England's offense out of the end zone. The Patriots' two touchdowns came on a bizarre 48-yard interception return by linebacker Tedy Bruschi -- who grabbed the football when it ricocheted off a teammate's shoe -- and an 86-yard kickoff return by Kevin Faulk with 59 seconds to play.

Faulk's runback provided a flicker of hope for the Patriots, who a week earlier pulled off a 21-point comeback victory over Chicago. But Oakland recovered the ensuing onside kick and ran out the clock. The crowd of 62,552 roared its approval, and fans waved signs reading "It was a fumble," a reference to Brady's apparent turnover in the January playoff game.

(Foxboro flashback: The Patriots were trailing, 13-10, with less than two minutes left in regulation. They moved inside the Oakland 30, when a blitzing Charles Woodson hit Brady and jarred the ball loose. Raider linebacker Greg Biekert recovered the would-be turnover. But, after reviewing the play, officials cited the little-known tuck rule, overturned the call and ruled it an incomplete pass. The Patriots went on to win in overtime).

The Raiders (6-4) have the same record as three other AFC teams and are a game behind San Diego and Denver in the AFC West.

All of a sudden, Oakland's four-game losing streak -- which came on the heels of a 4-0 start -- seems like a bad dream.

:( i am just too sad..we just didnt play well.....no excuses..but hey last year we were 5-5 and look what happend lol

and whats up with this revenge talk? Patriots have the RING and Raiders dont lol :)

ok guys!

its Monday night football..... take your Pick..,

Chicago Vs Rams...

I am putting my money on chicago.... they have been playing well in the past few weeks but have been really out of Luck.. I have a good feeling abt this one though ;)

^ Rams

Rams all the way!
Chicago doesn't have that fire power like last years.
I would love to see that Bulger guy be the Quaterback again!

Superb Quarter Backing by Marc Bulger
He Should be thier full time quarter back instead of backup:k:
