I am, I think Oakland Raiders are going to win this year. Sadly they lost to Rams yesterday, it wouldn't have been sweet to see last years finalist be 0-6.
Raiders are leading the NFL with most points scored, Rich Gannon is looking in great form, but I thought after the new coach coming in they won't be as good as before but they are doing pretty good.
I think american football is a good example of what one of my prof once said: "sport is nothing more than organized agression"

Ya... I like the Raiders too... win or lose...
everyone knew Rams were desperate... they would have done anything to win this game... and for the Raiders to play two road games... on turf... back-to-back... i think really tired them...
The offense is doing great because the coach is okay with it... Gruden had differnt game plans... the coach and the players now agree
Oakland hasnt scored the most point... but they lead in Yards per game and points per game...
THAT's IT... no more football fans?
For a while I was a Dallas Cowboys fan, when ex-UCLA stars Troy Aikman, Ken Norton Jr. and James Washington played. Ive seen Troy play in college.
Nowadays, I like Raiders and I still think of them as LA Raiders ;).
Raiders biggest problems is their owner Al Davis. I would have liked to see Gruden stay with Raiders and lead em to their 4th NFL championship.
Rich Gannon is a great QB as well :k:
PS: Tipz can u ask the mod to change the title of this thread. And let this thread serve as the NFL thread from now onwards.
Although I usually go around in a 49er shirt, I think Raiders are a more exciting team. :)
I liked last year's Patriots, but unfortunately hadn't had an opportunity to follow their matches this year.
They lost badly to Green Bay the other day.
^ Pats have lost three in a row...
Al Davis is one of the best owners… its his luck that it didnt work out…
What he did to Gruden… was perfect… Gruden got what he wanted… Davis got cold hard cash and good draft picks for this last draft and the next draft… Gruden would have left anways… which wouldnt have done any better for Davis… everyone knew that after this season Gruden would FOR SURE go to Tampa Bay…
And again… he brought a guy from his bunch… he brought someone who knew the players… got along with them… they were able to settle their differences…
and as much i liked Gruden being in Oakland… he wouldnt have gotten the ring any sooner…
Al Davis is involved… but unlike some other teams he stays out in the margin and sees whats going on… he knew Gannon and Gruden didnt get along…
Under Gruden… Gannon could have never thrown 63 passes in a game…
And
(I hope not) but they might collapse at the end of the year like they did last year… especially since the bye week was sooo early… last yr they won only 2 out of their last 6 games… losing the first/second place berth…
SO LETS GO RAIDERS…
anyone wanna make predictions for the week games? i’ll post the match-ups tommorow…
and yah… i’ll pm Ehsan bahi and ask him…
tipz dude, I believe and there are others as well who think the same that, owners of teams need to only show up at the games and watch from their luxury suites. They dun need to coach the coaches or players. Let the coach do his job. This kinda first-hand interference from the owners irritates the high-profile coaches.
Remember Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson ?

Is Tom Brady still alive....or are they missing Bledsoe....
What about Steelers ....they made into the semi-finals last year...this year they have a new quarterback Tommy Maddox
^ they switched to Maddox week before last or something...
and the Pats traded Bledsoe to bills remember... Brady is doing good... but they defense can't stop the run... and cant run the ball either
alrighty... the name has been changed...
