So i think that you guys will be working on the next upgrades.

Can we have a sneak peak at what the next upgrades might look
like and so don’t get a shock when they are implemented.
What are the next upgrades targeted at?
At what level you guys are accepting suggestions and requests?

Following are the things that i want to see in the new Gupshup in no particular order:

  1. Thread locking system at a user level. like we have in journals.
  2. a new logo.
  3. journals should have thumbnail options.
  4. you should delete those boring avatars and bring alot of good and shinny avatars. there should also be the option custom titles and avatars to every user.
  5. you should paste some useful adv. now. i think its the time that you should earn something from it.
  6. you should bring the offline/online indicator at top along with the user's nick.at the indicators' previous place we should have a rough section (approx. 100letters) for some random thoughts.
  7. games are all good.
  8. Image Gallery and gallery should be merged.
  9. members should have the option to make their albums in the gallery.
  10. threads which recieve a reply in 2hours should be deleted.

so thats all what i want.
ithink someof them might prove useful.

ceo sahab, can you plz increase the signature limit to between 180-200 words. the current 150 words limit doesn't gove me enough words to play to have a detailed sig'

  1. How about making the banner graphic a lot thinner? As it is, about a 5th of the page goes with that and if adv come in too, there will be lot less real estate for the threads.

    1. In jokes section - is there a way to keep new jokes on top by preventing old joke threads bubbling up everytime someone decides to post a reply to a month old joke? Most replies are smiley appreciations anyway!
    2. I don't know if it is feasible but is it possible to add a 'hover' help on non-English words used in posts? When people use urdu hindi and punjabi words thinking they are speaking telugu, won't it be nice to know wtf they're trying to say?
    3. I'd also suggest a 'like' eliminator. Some people like, every other word like, when they write anything is like, like!
